 |  | | | | |  |  I have been nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year. I am very excited about this honor and truly feel this is my opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and blood cancers throughout our community.

Each dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most donations is named our local Man or Woman of the Year. I am raising money in honor of a local patient and truly hope to make their battle with blood cancers a thing of the past.

| | | |  |  From our award winning local news coverage to our many public service partnerships, abc27 works to be a good corporate citizen in Central Pennsylvania, as exemplified by the new abc27 Call For Action project. This non-profit organization located at the station and staffed with a group of dedicated volunteers, helps solve consumer problems and complaints. Throughout the year, abc27 is also actively involved in many events and fundraisers. Our anchors and reporters also make hundreds of appearances at community organizations each year.
This year, one our top sales executives, Sue Mumma, has generously donated her time and resources to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as a candidate for that organization’s Woman of the Year program.
