Killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military truck during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq on December 1, 2005.

Master Sgt. Scott R. Ball

Hometown: Carlisle
Age: 38
Assigned to: Pennsylvania Army National Guard's Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 3rd Brigade, 28th Infantry Division, Harrisburg, PA.

Killed August 27, 2007 in an ambush in Kunar Province, Afghanistan. Ball was an 8-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police.

Staff Sgt. Keith A. Bennett

Age: 32
Assigned to: Pennsylvania Army National Guard's 28th Military Police Company, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Johnstown, PA.

Killed when a suicide car bomb exploded during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq, on December 11, 2005.

Spc. Zachary R. Clouser

Age: 19
Assigned to: 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany.

Killed when his vehicle was attacked by enemy forces using a roadside bomb and small-arms fire in Adhamiya, Iraq, on July 18, 2007.

Cpl. Michael R. Cohen

Hometown: Jacobus
Age: 23
Assigned to: 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

Died due to enemy action in Anbar province, Iraq, on November 22, 2004.

Pvt. David E. Dietrich

Hometown: Marysville
Age: 21
Assigned to: 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division.

Died of wounds suffered when his unit came in contact with enemy forces using small-arms fire in Ramadi, Iraq, on December 29, 2006.

Pvt. Michael R. Dinterman

Age: 18
Assigned to: 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas since July 2008.

Died September 6, 2008 at Outpost Restrepo, Kunar Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he received enemy fire while on dismounted patrol.

Sgt. Brent W. Dunkleberger

Killed when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his vehicle during a convoy security mission in Mosul, Iraq, December 12, 2006.

Staff Sgt. Troy S. Ezernack

Assigned to: 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, Vicenza, Italy.

Died of injuries sustained when his combat patrol was attacked by enemy forces using a grenade in Qalat, Afghanistan, on October 9, 2005.

Petty Officer 3rd Class John T. Fralish

Killed when when enemy forces opened fire on a U.S. patrol northwest of Methar Lam in Laghman Province, Afghanistan on February 6, 2006.
